Tina Carroll
Hello gorgeous, My name is Tina Carroll. I am wife and a proud mama of twins + one. I grew up just outside Ankeny, and have always loved being a part of this amazing community.
I graduated from North Polk High School and went on to pursue a degree in Biotechnology. However, my love for hair and all things beauty wound me up at Iowa School of Beauty in 2002!
I have had the opportunity to work at two amazing salons over my career. Through them I realized I can have it all by balancing time with family, work, and travel.
Outside of work you can find me at home with my hubby Brad, 7 year old twins (Penelope and Lola) and our baby (He's 4) Henry. We love to spend time Riding bikes, hiking or really anything outdoors & planning our next vacation . When I'm alone, I love shopping in The District, I cant get enough of Maria Vincent or Grey Lotus! I like to unwind by baking and enjoying a glass of red wine on cold nights or a rose in the summer. I hope to see you in my chair soon and look forward to meeting you and getting you to your hair goals!

I have been behind the chair since 2003 with close to my entire career in Ankeny. I live in Urbandale with my husband Mike and our little man Ellis who is 3!
I have such a love for the craft of hair cutting and coloring. Continuing to evolve my techniques with education is very important to me! Beyond the hair, the amazing relationships and wonderful clients I have are what make my world! I’m one lucky girl! I would love to see you in my chair!
Jill Hansen
Hi, Jill Hansen here! I grew up in Monroe, a small town in Iowa. Since February 2020 (wild times I know) I have planted my roots here in Ankeny. With my hubby Mike and two boys Liam & Brooks.
I have been working on my craft for 14 years now, with a majority in the Metro. Ever since I was a little girl, it was my dream to be a hairstylist. I would constantly practice on my mom’s hair (thanks mom). I love seeing the transformation extentions create and providing a seamless blend. Questions?? Just ask! I can’t wait to see you in my chair!!

My husband Korbin and I moved to the Des Moines area in 2021!
Our golden retriever named Bolt is our fur baby.
I started cosmetology school at Kankakee Area Career Center at the age of 16.
I graduated and started working in the beauty industry at age 18.
Growing up I always wanted to be an artist which is why color and balayage is my favorite thing to do!
I am a fashion enthusiast and love to shop!
Korbin and I spend all the time we can hiking, kayaking and spending time outdoors.

Hi, I’m Monica. I began my career in 2012 in Cedar Rapids, IA where I was born and raised. My boyfriend and I moved to Ankeny in the fall of 2023 with our only child — our Golden Retriever, Willow. We are pleased to call Ankeny home and are so happy to be part of this growing community.
Fueled by my passion for making people look and feel their best, I knew from a young age the beauty industry was for me.
I offer a wide range of services, specializing in the industry’s leading extension method, Invisible Bead Extensions®️. Haircuts, lived-in color, balayage, blondes, Brazilian blowouts and special event styling such as wedding hair are among my other specialties. Education is the foundation of my career, always keeping me up on the latest trends.
I believe that beauty is an art and I am dedicated to helping you express your style through hair care and styling. I strive to provide a luxury service matched with a luxury experience. I have a passion for making people feel their best. The moment you walk into the salon, "Self Care" starts and you deserve it. My mission is to provide you with a realistic expectation of what your hair can achieve while you sit back and enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee.
The beauty world has always been a big part of my life. I first began working as a receptionist at age 14, I swear my first love. I graduated from PCI in Ames and definitely enjoyed my life in a college town. I worked at two salons before landing where I am now. I am surrounded by strong women who are killing it in this industry. Our atmosphere is one of kind.
Outside of the salon, you can find me with my three littles (5+3+1) and an amazing hubby. You can also find me with my hair on top of my head and comfy clothes on. Anddddd maybe a cocktail in my hand too.
